Attention Players and Parents on Teams 14 and under!

Mastering Movement

On Thursday, 5:30-6 pm, January 23rd. in the Clubhouse we will host an informational meeting about a new opportunity for our young players.

Caroline Humbert, Licensed Physical Therapist will be offering small group classes on “Mastering Movement”   Her goal is to teach our younger athletes the proper way to move their bodies to prevent injury and maximize their athleticism.  The 4-week course will include a movement assessment for each participant and how to use basic muscle groups and basic agility.  The classes will be limited to 10 athletes for each session.  Caroline will have an assistant so that the teacher to student ratio is not more than 5:1.   Participants will be given a reference book to keep.

We will have 3 1-hour sessions available each week.  You will sign up for the same day/time each week. UPDATED!!

Tuesdays (Hall 2) 4:00 to 5:00 pm (January 28th, 4th, 11th and 18th)

Fridays (Strength & Conditioning Area) 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (January  31, February 7, 14, 21)

 

The cost for the 4 sessions is $150.00 per person payable to TVC before the 1st class.

Caroline’s bio and information
 Caroline Humberston, PT, CSCS. My passion is teaching overall movement health that anyone can apply to any activity. My goal is to establish movement health and prevention like we do for our teeth and heart.
As a Physical Therapist who specializes in orthopedic injuries and joint/muscle health, I study and diagnose movement impairments. I received my Physical Therapy degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and completed a Fellowship at Washington University specifically to diagnose movement impairments.
