Dear players, parents and potential TVC athletes,

The staff at TVC recently received this letter from Kaycie Perillo, our 18-1 Head Coach. The letter is directed to the future 18-1 players and their parents. We think this letter is too good not to share with everyone who is considering playing for TVC this coming season.

Kaycie's letter really captures the essence of who and what TVC is about.  Our goal is educate and train our athletes, hold them to high personal and playing standards, to be good teammates and to compete.  Kaycie touches on winning and not apologizing for having that winning attitude. That is clearly an expectation for our 18-1 team.

And we think winning is fun at every age; however, at the younger ages, training on the proper fundamentals and training to compete are as important as winning. For example, we will take a loss as an 11's team who is mastering the 3 contacts to a team that just bumps the ball over on the first contact to get the point.

I hope you enjoy Kaycie's letter as much as we did.  We are looking forward to a great year in 2016.

Sincerely,

Michelle Hills
