As you may have seen on our Facebook Page, TVC will be going with Nike as our uniform and spirit wear provider.  This was not an easy decision as we have been a very happy and loyal Mizuno club.  However, after we were approached by both Nike and Under Armour, we thought we should at least look into the options.  Leeanne was able to gauge club interest through a quick survey.  We had over 90 responses in 24 hours-which in and of itself was amazing.  The overwhelming preference was Nike. (We also got the message loud and clear that a pink uniform was not a favorite for anyone but me)

The local Nike provider- Team Sports worked very hard with Syd to put together a proposal that made sense both financially and logistically.  The tipping point for me was the fact that families will be able to order their uniforms (and spirit wear) online and all of the sorting and delivery will be handled by Team Sports.  Anyone who has spent any amount of time around our office during uniform ordering or pick-up knows how crazy it can get.   The other benefit to working with Nike is our ability to offer Nike Team Apparel at a discount from what we would pay at a retail store.

The uniform package will again be included in your player fees.  Depending on the team level, the package can include 1, 2 or 3 jerseys, warm-up top, spandex, warmup pants and jacket.  You will also be able to purchase additional items.  We will be adding two new colors to augment the royal and black to our uniforms - Carolina Blue and Gray and we will also be debuting a 25th Anniversary logo shortly that we will use on our uniforms.  Finally, we will be changing the team names to go along with our new Nike partnership.  All of this and much more will be presented at our Open House on October 25th.
