Board Election Nominees & Annual Meeting Reminder - August 26th at 6:30pm

Please plan to attend the TVC Annual Meeting on Wednesday, August  26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Clubhouse.

We will be presenting the Balance Sheet for our Fiscal Year ending August 2015 and we will elect a coach representative and parent representative to the board.  A voting member is considered anyone who had a player play for the club this past season. If you had more than one player, you will receive a ballot for each player.

The Nominees for the Parent Representative are:

Joe Bialiecki – father of Natalie (12-Select) who has played 3 years for TVC is an active supporting parent, not only for his child, but for all kids. In the past, has coached CYO soccer, basketball, and is currently a baseball coach. Joe sees the value of this organization and what it offers to all players, regardless of level of experience or age. He would like to offer to invest his time in helping this club grow and continue to be the best in the area.

Robb Brown – father of Becca (14-Elite) and Corey (12-Elite). Assistant Principal of Springfield High School.  Former Athletic Director.  Experience in handling finances for multiple sports.  Experience with Ohio High School Athletic Association rules and impact on club sports.  Robb wants to offer his assistance and help in growing and improving an already well established program.   He feels his experience as a former athletic director will allow him to offer helpful insight whenever it is asked.

Amy Mergen -  mother of Madison (11-Black). Served as a parent rep this past season and wants to get more involved in the program. Past board experience includes Lucas County Work Force Investment Board. Currently working as the Assistant Director of Admissions at the University of Toledo. She understands that the role of a board member is to support the staff so they can do their job well.

The Nominee for the Coach Representative is (automatically elected as the only candidate to submit an application):

Gretchen Brown – mother of Brynn (12-Elite ) and long-time TVC coach. This past season was the assistant coach on the 16-Elilte team. Currently, Gretchen is the Dean of Students at Maumee High School and was formerly the head varsity volleyball coach. She has been coaching for TVC since its inception in 1991 and has a vested interest in the continuing success of the program. Gretchen wants to assist TVC and our efforts to continue down the path to success and longevity by using her coaching experience and decision making skills.
