We will be holding our Annual Meeting on Wednesday, August 26th at 6:30 p.m. in the Clubhouse.  The purpose of the meeting is to report on the activities and present the financial statements for the fiscal Year ending August 31, 2015.

We will also elect two board members.  We will elect a parent representative to fill the unexpired term of Dean Lydey.  Dean has resigned from the board effective August 31, 2015.  He has two years remaining on his term.  We also have an opening for a coach representative for a full 3 year term.  John Buck's term is ending August 31, 2015 and he is not running for reelection to the board.

Any parent with a player in the club who played this past season is eligible for election to the board.  The board approves the budget and sets policy for the organization.  The board is not involved in the day to day running of the organization but provides counsel to the director and staff. 

If you are interested in being considered for the board, please submit a letter of interest to the Nominating Committee at info@toledovolleyballclub.com.  If there are more than 3 people interested in the position, the nominating committee will meet and present their top 3 recommendations for a vote at the Annual Meeting.

Interested Coaches should also submit a letter in interest to info@toledovolleyballclub.com.  The Deadline for submitting a letter of interest is Sunday, August 23rd.  If there are more than 3 coaches interested, the nominating committee will present the top 3 recommendations for a vote.

If we do not have people self nominate for the open positions, the nominating committee (Michelle Hills, Sonny Lewis and Cathi Dooley) will recruit people to run for election. 

Voting for the new board members will take place at the Annual Meeting on August 26th.  A simple majority of those in attendance who are voting members of the organization at the meeting will determine the election.

Each family with a player who played for TVC this past season is considered a voting member.  There is one vote per family per player.
